Memorial Marketing & Foundation Promotions
Two Memorial Health employees have been promoted to new positions and will lead the Memorial Health Foundation’s Capital Campaign for the upcoming major expansion of the Memorial Hospital facility. Construction is planned to begin next year.
Melanie Ziegler has been promoted to Assistant Vice President of Marketing, Public Relations, and Philanthropy. She earned a bachelor’s degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences from Virginia Tech and a MBA from Urbana University. She has been with Memorial for 15 years, and a resident of Union County for 21 years. Outside of work, Ziegler serves on Urbana University’s Department of Business Advisory Board; is Board Vice President for UCO Industries; and is Vice President of the Union County Agriculture Association.
Evie Collins has been promoted to Executive Director of the Memorial Health Foundation. Collins has been a member of the Marketing and Public Relations team for eight years. She previously worked in fundraising for Relay for Life of Union County. She has a bachelor’s degree in Marketing from the University of Akron. Collins serves as Assistant Deaconess at her church, and has been involved with Union County Young Professionals, Prom Remix, Women’s Parliament, and Central Ohio Emmaus.
