Kapraly Joining New Family Practice in Richwood

Memorial Family Medicine | Richwood will open in late May, with two physicians who are well known to area patients. Pamela Kapraly, MD will join David Dunkin, DO at this new, renovated office at 19 West Ottawa Street. Dr. Kapraly is continuing to see patients in her current office, and will have appointments at the new location starting on May 30. She has operated an independent practice in Richwood since 1992.

“Joining Memorial’s team will be new for me,” explains Dr. Kapraly. “The healthcare climate has become very complex. In joining Memorial, I will be able to focus more of my time on my patients, instead of business issues.” She notes that patients will benefit from fast-tracked access to medical specialists, and additional coverage in a two-provider practice.

“Memorial is investing significant resources to modernize the office on Ottawa Street, and I have no doubt we will have a wonderful facility that will make our jobs easier, and patient visits more comfortable,” Dr. Kapraly added.

“Memorial Health has been listening to residents of Northern Union County who have been asking for primary providers in their area,” says Chip Hubbs, President and CEO of Memorial Health. “Providing close access to doctors for residents of rural regions is a national concern, and one that has been, and remains, a priority for us at Memorial.”

Dr. Kapraly is board certified by the American College of Family Medicine, and is a graduate of The Ohio State University College of Medicine. She completed her internship and residency at Mount Carmel Medical Center in Columbus.
