Medical Staff Scholarship Available
Undergraduate College Scholarships Geared Toward Health-Related Majors
Graduating high school seniors who reside in Union County with plans study in accredited health-related majors or program, with intentions to enter the medical field (such as medicine, nursing, physical therapy, or biological sciences), are encouraged to apply for a Memorial Hospital Medical Staff Scholarship. The $1,000 scholarships are administered by the Union County Foundation.
Applicants must provide a letter of acceptance from an accredited two- or four-year college, university, or technical school that offers healthcare-related programs. Two letters of recommendation from a scholastic perspective plus a high school transcript are required. ACT/SAT test scores can be provided, if available. Special consideration will be given to those who have volunteered at a Memorial Health facility, or have a family member who is employed by Memorial Health.
