Memorial Health Purchases Aaron’s Building
Memorial Health recently closed on its purchase of the former Aaron’s retail space at City Gate.
The regional health system invested $1,030,000 on the approximately 8,000 square foot facility that previously was home to the rent-to-own furniture, appliance and electronics store. With its former use, the building has few walls or internal structures that would allow build-out to suit a variety of needs.
With the pending inpatient and outpatient facility construction project on its main campus, Memorial has been filling its medical space with office relocations and new practices. Growth has been the theme for the system in recent years, as more and more people have chosen to use the wide network of providers and services. The exact use of the new facility at 1051 Lydia Drive is not yet determined.
Construction on the Memorial 2020 project is expected to begin in early spring of 2018.
