Nephrologists Join Memorial
Patients with kidney disease, hypertension, and other related issues are seeing two more physicians who have joined the Memorial Hospital medical staff team. Tameem S. Kaka, MD and Christopher Valentine, MD evaluate and treat outpatients, provide consults on hospitalized patients, and assist on call as needed.
Dr. Kaka is board-certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in Nephrology and in Internal Medicine. He graduated from Northeast Ohio Medical University in Rootstown; completed his internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Rush Presbyterian-St. Luke’s Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois; and completed his fellowship in Nephrology at George Washington University Hospital in Washington, D.C.
Dr. Valentine is board-certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in Nephrology and in Internal Medicine. He graduated from Case Western Reserve University Medical School in Cleveland, completed his residency and internship in Internal Medicine at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oaks, Michigan; and completed his fellowship in Nephrology at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center.
