Recognized for Workplace Safety
Occupational Safety program in top 20% in state
Memorial Hospital has been named a top 20 percent performer in the statewide Ohio Hospital Association (OHA) 2017 Hospital Occupational Safety Campaign. Memorial is recognized for having a low recordable incident rate of work-related illness or injury of its employees, and for having an effective Occupational Safety Program.
“OHA has led the campaign for more than 60 years to promote workplace safety, and recognize its successful occupational health program. Your hospital’s superior safety record is an excellent example for all hospitals across the state,” said OHA President and CEO Mike Abrams in a notification letter to Memorial Health President and CEO Chip Hubbs.
Reported work-related illness and injury information was evaluated by OHA to calculate comparable employee injury data for the campaign.
