    Memorial Adds Second Urbana Office

    Patients from Champaign County can now make appointments to see Memorial Health medical specialists in Urbana. On Monday, November 14 Memorial Health’s new, temporary office will be open at 848 Scioto Street. It will be used for medical specialists on a rotating basis until they relocate to Memorial Health’s new 30,000-square-foot, $10.3-million outpatient medical center, which opens in mid-2018.

    Two main locations at Memorial Hospital now have advanced electronic registration technology which is receiving positive responses from patients.  Patients sign in at new kiosks at the main MacIvor patient registration desk and in the hospital Laboratory, and are strongly encouraged to also register for an additional, optional process that provides protection against identity theft and the creation of duplicate records.
