Helping people regain their skills. And their independence.
Not only is rehabilitation a priority for both short-term and long-term residents who are looking to regain their ability to live independently, it’s the most essential type of care we provide. It’s usually a required component of treatment for and recovery from a serious medical condition such as heart failure, stroke, personal injury, as well as elective procedures such as hip or knee replacement.
Core rehabilitative services and resources available:
- Physical, occupational, and speech therapy
- Trained therapists and therapy assistants create and deliver rehabilitation
- Therapy sessions conducted in a state-of-the-art center equipped with the appliances, furniture, and personal care items that people use on a daily basis.
Therapy also continues beyond scheduled sessions. Residents who are taking routine therapy are also encouraged to get involved in the planned daily activities to enhance their rehabilitation and get back on their feet sooner.
For many residents, therapy can be hard work, but with the can-do encouragement of a skilled team of therapists, the rewards are restored mobility and maybe even getting home ahead of schedule.
