    Memorial Hospital Christmas Gift Funds Shared With Local Charities

    In a business’s typical expression of holiday cheer, Memorial Hospital of Union County sets money aside in each year’s budget to provide nominal gifts to its medical staff, board members, and staff members to thank them for their contributions. This year, though, its medical staff and board of trustees asked the hospital to reconsider their plans and instead contribute those funds to two local charities: The Care Train of Union County and Turning Point.

    Local Student Wins Hospital's Christmas Card Contest

    Memorial Hospital of Union County has selected the winner of their holiday greeting card art contest. The drawing seen here was created by Janelle Yunker, a 6th grader at Trinity Lutheran, daughter of Ken and Penny Yunker of Marysville. It will be used to decorate the cover of hte card the hospital sends to individuals and businesses in celebration of the holidays.

    Union County and surrounding communities have a new option in nephrology care in Sunkireddy Sreedevi, MD. She joins her partner Michael Sobel, DO in caring for patients in Memorial Hospital of Union County’s Ambulatory Care Center located within the hospital’s main building. The pair also are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week to consult on inpatients requiring specialized kidney care.
