Amy Winters, FNP-C
For an appointment:
Amy Winters is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners as a Family Nurse Practitioner. She started her career in the medical intensive care unit at The Ohio State University’s Wexner Medical Center, as a critical care nurse.
After eight years of work in the acute, intensive setting, she began working at Memorial Health in the Emergency Department. Not long after transitioning into a rural Emergency Room, she made the decision to return to school for her master’s degree in nursing, to provide advanced nursing care to the rural population she was serving. Amy worked in the ER as a Registered Nurse for four years while she continued to obtain her master’s degree.
Amy enjoys being able to provide medical care locally, without local residents needing to leave the area for care.
Amy enjoys being a part of a small community, watching girl’s high school basketball, and attending county fairs. She grew up on a farm outside of West Liberty, OH, and continues to reside in the area on a farm with her spouse and three daughters. Together, they enjoy trips to Florida’s gulf coast and attending Cincinnati Reds games.
