Marysville, Ohio – Memorial Hospital has earned a four-star rating by Hospital Compare, an initiative of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), which rates the quality of care at over 4,000 Medicare-certified hospitals across the country. Patients can use Hospital Compare to find hospitals and compare the quality of their care.
The overall rating summarizes up to 57 quality measures reflecting common conditions that hospitals treat, such as heart attacks or pneumonia. The overall rating shows how well each hospital performed, on average, compared to other hospitals in the U.S. The comprehensive analysis places Memorial Hospital in the exclusive company of the top 25 percent of hospitals across the country.
“Earning a four-star rating is a testament to the level of care provided by Memorial’s clinical team,” comments Dr. Victor A. Trianfo, Memorial Health Chief Medical Officer. “Together we work as a collaborative unit to place patient comfort, safety, and overall experience as a top priority – from the minute our patients come through the doors to the minute they depart. I applaud our staff on the measures they take to advance the care of our patients and community.”
