Board certified in family medicine, Dr. Pelaez serves patients of all ages, with a specific interest in women’s health, from birth control procedures to chronic care of such issues as diabetes and hypertension.
As a student, Dr. Pelaez was mesmerized by the medical field, but felt a certain attraction to the wide spectrum of Family Medicine. “I was drawn to Family Medicine because I love the aspect of helping to take care of the whole family. I welcome the fact that in one appointment, I could be seeing a young child – and the next could be a senior patient. My vision for my practice is to be an advocate for all of my patients and work together with them to devise a cooperative plan for their health and wellness.”
Raised in Gahanna, Dr. Pelaez was instantly drawn to Union County. “I fell in love with the character of the area, and am completely amazed at the growth. I love being a part of this community!”
In her spare time, Dr. Pelaez enjoys movies, especially Academy Award winners, as well as both domestic and international travel. She lives with her husband and growing family in Marysville.
