Dr. Johnson provides family medicine needs for adult patients. Her focus is on preventive care combined with treatment plans for chronic and acute conditions, developed in collaboration with each patient and their health goals. She aims to be a long-term health partner for those who look to her for care.
Dr. Johnson recently served patients at the Lower Lights Health Center in Columbus. She completed fellowships in both Hospice & Palliative Medicine at OhioHealth, as well as in Geriatric Medicine at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. Her post-degree training was with the Mount Carmel Health Systems Family Medicine Residency. She received her medical degree from Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine and her undergraduate degrees from The Ohio State University.
Dr. Johnson is passionate about how the incredible bond between humans and dogs can facilitate healing and growth. She recently adopted Gary, a beagle mix, who she enjoys training. Gary is certified as a AKC Therapy Dog, in addition to an AKC Trick Dog Elite Performer.
