Shelley is a board-certified physician assistant with extensive experience in family practice and surgery. She began her medical career in the United States Air Force, serving as a Medical Service Specialist at Wilford Hall Medical Center in San Antonio, Texas. During Operation Desert Storm, she cared for injured Navy SEALs and paratroopers on the General Surgery/Trauma unit, earning both the Desert Shield–Desert Storm Campaign Medal and the Good Conduct Medal in 1991.
Following her military service, Shelley completed her undergraduate studies at The Ohio State University and pursued physician assistant training in Cleveland. She went on to earn her Master of Science in Advanced Physician Assistant Studies from A.T. Still University in 2006.
Her clinical experience includes practice in internal medicine, pediatrics, family medicine, and primary care across Ohio and California. Most recently, she served patients at Providence Manhattan Beach Primary Care before returning to the region. She previously spent six years with Memorial Damascus Family Medicine, with her experience seeing patients in Marysville encompassing over nearly 20 years.
Shelley believes in patient-centered, individualized, and comprehensive healthcare built on compassion, active listening, and mutual respect. Her clinical specialties include women’s health, diabetes management, and hypertension.
