Ways to Give
MEMORIAL GALA
Save the Date for the Memorial Gala on Saturday evening, April 5, 2025, at Brookside Golf & Country Club.
Event proceeds will be allocated toward a Da Vinci 30-degree scope. As an addition to the current Da Vinci robot, it will allow the surgery department to increase the number of robotic cases that can be scheduled each day and create efficiencies that ultimately lead to decreased wait times for patients, providers, and staff. Click here to sponsor the event or purchase individual tickets. Click here to donate an auction item or package.
Annual gifts to Catalyst Giving provides you with the opportunity to make a direct impact on your community. Whether you are able to give $1 or $1 million, you can make a difference in the lives of patients by supporting the Memorial Health Foundation.
Our Catalyst Giving program includes support at all levels and it all comes from friends like you. These gifts allow us to support initiatives throughout the Memorial Health system year-round, ranging from investing in state-of-the-art equipment and service line improvements to providing staff training and patient education.
You can be a catalyst of change – making waves in the way we impact patient care.
AREA OF GREATEST NEED
Donations designated to the area of greatest need allow Memorial to adapt quickly and concentrate on making an immediate impact when an area of greatest need is identified. These needs may include new medical equipment, expansion of services, or investment in healthcare technology. Your donation to the area of greatest need allows the Memorial Health Foundation to respond quickly to community needs as they arise.
CANCER CARE
Cancer affects more than just the physical wellbeing of a person. Gifts to oncology support clinical care and patient programs related to both the treatment of cancer and the emotional support patients need to keep life on track for themselves and their family during this life-changing journey.
CARDIOVASCULAR HEALTH
As the leading cause of death in Ohio, heart disease affects one in three people and creates daily struggles for too many patients and their families. By donating to cardiovascular health, you are aiding in the provision of equipment, education, and services that will enhance patient care.
MOBILE MEALS
Part of successfully maintaining an independent, senior lifestyle is the ability to count on caring people to provide life-giving services. Gifts to our Mobile Meals program ensures just that by providing nutritious lunches every weekday to residents of Union County over the age of 60.

Our History
The Union County Hospital Association (UCHA) was incorporated in 1945 with the purpose of providing improved healthcare for the people of Union County. With many veterans returning from World War II, the people of Union County came together to provide for the care of those who had been wounded and to memorialize those who had made the ultimate sacrifice for their neighbors and community. With community generosity and a matching federal grant, Memorial Hospital of Union County opened in 1952.
In the fall of 2014, the Union County Hospital Association changed its operating name to the Memorial Health Foundation to provide expanded philanthropic giving opportunities in support of the charitable mission of Memorial Hospital and related operations — now part of Memorial Health. The Memorial Health Foundation supports our next generation of growth and expanded community services.
