Ohio Auditor of State Keith Faber’s office has returned a clean 2022 audit report for Memorial Health. This marks the eleventh year for which Memorial has received the Auditor of State Award, a designation that only 10% of all annual audits in Ohio receive.

“Congratulations to all the team members of our meticulous and hardworking Accounting Department,” comments Jeff Ehlers, Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. “By keeping accurate financial records, our staff continues to demonstrate their commitment to efficient, effective, and transparent service, as indicated by receiving this recognition for eleven out of the last twelve years. We look forward to continuing such excellence.”

The Auditor’s office presents the Auditor of State Award to local governments and school districts upon the completion of a financial audit. Entities that receive the award meet a stringent set of criteria to earn a “clean” audit report.
