On Thursday, February 23, Memorial Health recognized the organization’s longest standing board member, Dennis (Denny) Stone, for his 20-year tenure. Stone was invited to join the Memorial Health Board of Trustees in December 2003 and has served as both Chair and Vice-Chair, before completing his final term this month.
Commenting on Stone’s service and contributions, Chip Hubbs, Memorial CEO/President shares, “Through forward-thinking, fiercely independent leadership, Memorial Health has bucked national trends and established an impressive record of growth over the last two decades. During his countless hours of service, Denny guided key strategic decisions, placing the hospital in a position of strength, able to adapt to the changing health care needs of our community. Memorial has flourished through a well-orchestrated plan of business growth and strategic partnerships, in large part due to his leadership. The entire Memorial Health organization extends our congratulations and appreciation to Denny for his dedication over the last 20 years. He is an amazing leader, role model, and friend.”
