Memorial Health announces the addition of seven new providers across four areas: Orthopedics, Oncology & Hematology, Family Medicine, and Internal Medicine.
Memorial Orthopedics welcomes a new orthopedic surgeon – Zylyftar “Tali” Gorica, MD. Dr. Gorica offers a full range of orthopedic care for patients of all ages, specializing in treatment plans for injuries from sports, physical activity, work, overuse, aging and more.
Dr. Gorica joins Memorial after completing his fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital/Harvard program in Boston, MA, and residency at Virginia Commonwealth University Health System in Richmond, VA. At these programs, he served as an assistant team physician for the New England Patriots, Boston Red Sox, Boston Bruins, Boston College University, Harvard University, and William & Mary College. He has years of expertise in the treatment of musculoskeletal disorders including tendon and meniscus repair, ligament reconstruction, cartilage restoration, joint stabilization, and shoulder replacement.
Also joining the Memorial Orthopedics team is Stephanie Burkart, CNP. She works alongside Memorial neurosurgeon Dr. Chris Karas for patients with spine conditions – from degenerative disorders such as osteoarthritis, degenerative disc disease, and spinal stenosis, to traumatic injuries like spinal fractures, herniated discs, and spinal cord injuries.
Burkart has been in the nursing field for nearly 15 years, providing care in spine/joint/sports medicine settings, in addition to preoperative and post-anesthesia care units. She holds her Master of Science in Nursing from Chamberlain University and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Ohio University.

Memorial Oncology & Hematology adds Parthib Das, MD, MPH, to their expert care team. Dr. Das provides compassionate state-of-the-art cancer care – helping guide patients and their loved ones through each step of the journey with clarity, empathy, and trust.
Dr. Das completed his fellowship in Hematology & Medical Oncology at The Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center. Megan McBride, DO, is providing primary care for patients at Memorial Family Medicine | Plain City and will later transition to the Memorial Jerome Medical Center. Her approach is holistic and patient-centered, addressing the mind, body, and spirit, with a strong passion for women’s health.

Memorial Internal Medicine welcomes Blake Leeds, DO. Dr. Leeds is passionate about preventative and holistic care, treating the whole person – not just individual symptoms – with a special interest in gastrointestinal health.

Ian Keith, DO, is a new member of the Memorial Primary Care | Urbana team. His philosophy of care focuses on meeting his patients where they are in their healthcare journey and supporting them as they work toward their goals.

Shelley Wyse, PA-C, is a board-certified physician assistant in Family Practice and Surgery joining Memorial Family Medicine | Gateway. She recently served patients at Providence Manhattan Beach Primary Care in California before her family relocated back to the area. Prior to this, she was a member of the team at Memorial Damascus Family Medicine for six years.
