Memorial Hospital announces the appointment of Dannielle Schroeder as the organization’s Nurse Director of Surgery.
Schroeder joined Memorial in 2007, starting out on the surgical nursing team as an RN. In 2012, she earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Chamberlain University College of Nursing and was later promoted to Clinical Coordinator. In 2016, she earned her Master of Business Administration/Master of Science in Nursing Administration from Otterbein University. Schroeder also completed the Leadership Success Series, led by Ohio University’s College of Health Sciences and Professions.
Speaking on her promotion, Schroeder comments, “It is with tremendous gratitude that I step into this role and have the opportunity to lead such a dynamic team. My career path has been the result of great mentorship and leadership guidance over the last 13 years here at Memorial, and I look forward to this next chapter.”
Schroeder will succeed Debbie Niccolini, who announced her retirement as of January 31, 2021. Niccolini has 13 years with Memorial and nearly 23 years in the surgical services management field.
