Speech-Language Pathologist



Danielle Pittman, MA, CCC-SLP, is a speech-language pathologist, and began practicing at Memorial in 2011.

She graduated from Ohio University with her Bachelor of Science in Hearing, Speech and Language Sciences in 2008, and received her Master of Arts in Speech-Language Pathology in 2010, also from Ohio University.

Danielle specializes in the evaluation and treatment of pediatric speech and language disorders, but also enjoys treating adults with various speech, language or cognitive deficits in the outpatient setting. She is trained to complete Modified Barium Swallow Evaluations to evaluate and determine a treatment plan for dysphagia. Danielle has co-lead Memorial’s Summer Pediatric Social Skills group, along with the Occupational Therapist, for several summers and enjoys providing treatment in the group setting when able. She has advanced training in evaluation and treatment with Augmentative and Alternative Communication stemming from a directed study program and graduate assistantship in the AAC lab at Ohio University. Danielle takes a team approach to therapy when appropriate, working closely with family and other therapists to help the patient reach their greatest potential.

In her spare time, Danielle enjoys spending time with her husband and three children, and being involved with her church community.
