Jennifer Sloan, MOT, OTR/L
Occupational Therapist
Jennifer Sloan, MOT, OTR/L, joined Memorial Health in 2018 with nearly 20 years of experience in occupational therapy.
Jen received her Associate’s degree from Lima Technical College (Rhoades State College) in 2001. She worked as an occupational therapist assistant primarily in the outpatient setting, while also gaining experience in pediatrics, transitional care, and acute care. While working as an assistant she returned to the University of Findlay, where she received her Bachelor of Science degree in 2008 and her Master of Occupational Therapy in 2009. She continued to work in outpatient, inpatient, and pediatric settings.
Over the years she has gained significant experience with various manual techniques and continues to enjoy learning new skills. Most recently, she completed training in women’s health therapy services, allowing Memorial to offer these services at our Urbana location. Jen can can treat urinary incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, constipation, fecal incontinence, and pelvic pain in women.
Additionally, she is trained in dry needling. She enjoys helping to facilitate return to function, sport, work, and leisure activities for all patients of all ages.
Jen has been married for 23 years to her high school sweetheart, Travis. She has three grown children and four grandchildren. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends in her free time. She also enjoys traveling the globe.
