Speech-Language Pathologist

Mary F. Mason, MS, CCC-SLP, earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from the College of Mount St. Joseph, followed by a Master of Science in Speech Pathology from the University of Louisville.

Mary leads our Speech Therapy department – bringing extensive experience working with both pediatric and adult populations, and addressing a wide range of communication and swallowing disorders. She specializes in vocal recovery following tracheostomy tube placement and has developed adapted treatment strategies for patients speaking while on ventilators.

Additionally, Mary is the author of Speech Pathology for Tracheostomized and Ventilator Dependent Patients and has presented on this subject at universities, as well as at national and international conferences.
