Spence Fisher
President/CEO
Spence Fisher was appointed President/CEO of Memorial Health in 2026, after nearly 22 years with the organization.
Previously, Spence served as Executive Vice President of Memorial Health and President of Memorial Medical Group, the system’s employed physician organization. Throughout his tenure, he has provided leadership across many of our ambulatory service areas, including pharmacy, surgery, and physical therapy. He has also guided our business development efforts, helping introduce new services and expand existing service lines to better meet the needs of our communities. Since joining Memorial in September 2004, Spence has been a trusted and valued member of our leadership team, contributing more than two decades of dedicated service to the organization.
Spence has a Bachelor degree in Microbiology and Master of Health Administration degree, both from The Ohio State University. He has over 30 years of healthcare experience including positions at Ernst & Young, LLP and OhioHealth. In recognition of his leadership and civic contributions, Spence was selected as a Finalist for the Executive of the Year in Columbus CEO magazine’s 2018 Healthcare Achievement Awards.
He is currently a Board Member of the Union County Port Authority and has served on the boards of Healthcare Financial Management Association, Union County American Red Cross, Union County Chamber of Commerce, and the Community Improvement Corporation. Spence is married with two children.
