Alex Brewer is the New Director of Medical/Surgical Care and Caitlin Ralph is the New Director of Occupational Health
November 12, 2025 – Memorial Health announces Alex Brewer as the Director of Medical/Surgical Care, as well as the appointment of Caitlin Ralph as the Director of Occupational Health.
Alex Brewer joins the Memorial team as the Director of Medical/Surgical Care, bringing knowledge, passion, and dedicated tenure in the medical/surgical care environment. He has a history of championing safety initiatives, improving patient outcomes, and leading engaged, patient-focused teams. He has seven years of experience practicing as a Registered Nurse (RN). The last three years, Brewer held a nursing leadership role at The Arthur G. James Cancer Hospital and Richard J. Solove Research Institute, leading over 200 staff in the Medical Surgical Oncology department.
Brewer’s education includes a Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Mount Vernon Nazarene. Having grown up in a nearby community, Brewer is excited to return to his roots and join an organization known for prioritizing people, community, and mission-centered care.
Caitlin Ralph was promoted to Director of Occupational Health after two years working as the Clinical Coordinator for the department, a service line focused on the health, safety, injury prevention, and welfare of local workplace employees. She has ten years of prior experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in community health settings. Her deep understanding of department operations and strong leadership skills make her a great fit for the role.
Ralph earned her LPN certification at Tri Rivers School of Practical Nursing in Marion, Ohio. Throughout her career, she has remained committed to the communities she serves – supporting initiatives that enhance safety and wellness across the region, both in the workplace and beyond.
