Memorial Health today announced Milan B. Herceg, MD, will be treating patients at the Memorial Orthopedics & Sports Medicine practice at the Memorial City Gate Medical Center.

Dr. Herceg is a board certified spine surgeon, specializing in both surgical and conservative treatments for spinal disorders. He has a special interest in minimally invasive approaches to both the cervical and lumbar spine. His expertise includes procedures such as spinal fusion, herniated disc surgery, and spinal reconstructive surgery for deformities.

Herceg completed fellowship training with the Spine Care Medical Group in San Francisco, California. During his residency, he served as a clinical instructor at the Northeastern Ohio Universities College of Medicine. He graduated from The Ohio State University College of Medicine and Public Health in 1998.
