The following new officers will be active as of the April board meeting and will serve on the Memorial Health Foundation Executive Committee.

- Carmen Shields, Vice-Chair
- Kim Cutler, Secretary
- David Laslow, Treasurer
Additionally, Bruce Daniels, Jon Feller, and Anthony Smith will be added as Memorial Health Foundation Board members at the April 2021 board meeting.
Daniels is owner, partner, and operator of Performance Columbus Automotive Group, which operates several Central Ohio automotive dealerships. In addition, he is the owner of Leon’s Garage Restaurant and Pub located in Marysville. As a dedicated, community-minded leader, Daniels founded IMPACT60, an organization that focuses on health issues, food insecurity, youth wellness, workforce development, and homelessness in local communities by providing volunteers, program support, and funding.
According to Daniels, “One of the key tenets of my life is that individuals who share their time can change a community for the better. It is my honor to serve as a trustee for the Memorial Health Foundation and be part of fueling and supporting the expanding healthcare needs of our region.”
Feller is a Managing Director with Deloitte & Touche LLP, with over 20 years of diversified accounting and auditing experience. He currently serves on the Union County YMCA Board of Directors and the Fairbanks Soccer Boosters board. In addition, he is a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church and is active on Church Council as Treasurer.
Remarking on his appointment, Feller says, “I believe the Memorial Health Foundation has a significant impact on our local healthcare system and it is an important part of our community. I am very excited at the opportunity to support and guide this organization, and I look forward to working with the other board members to help support our next generation of growth and expanded community services.”
Smith has been with URE for over 28 years, progressing from draftsman through various engineering related positions, including Vice President of Engineering and Operations, before being tapped to fill the CEO position in 2017. He is currently a member of the Union County Community Improvement Corporation board and the North Union Business Advisory Council. He is also a past member of the YMCA board and the Union County Mental Health and Recovery board. Smith and his family are active members and volunteers at Delaware Christian Church.
After his appointment to the board, Smith commented, “I grew up in this thriving and fast-growing community, yet I’m still impressed with the pace of change. With all this growth though, it’s important that we ensure that critical services like medical and long-term care facilities continue to receive the necessary philanthropic funding to serve our growing community. Serving on the Memorial Health Foundation Board will allow me to learn more about Memorial Health’s operations as well as to assist in serving our growing community.”
