Zylyftar (Tali) Gorica, MD

As an orthopedic surgeon, Dr. Gorica provides comprehensive care catered specifically to his patients’ needs. He offers a full range of orthopedic care for patients of all ages, specializing in surgical and non-surgical means to diagnose and treat injuries from sports, physical activity, work, overuse, aging and more. Trained in sports medicine, Dr. Gorica also treats the orthopedic needs of our student-athletes through our local school partnerships.

Dr. Gorica joins Memorial after completing his fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital/Harvard program in Boston, MA and residency at Virginia Commonwealth University Health System in Richmond, VA. At these programs, he served as an assistant team physician for the New England Patriots, Boston Red Sox, Boston Bruins, Boston College University, Harvard University and William & Mary College. He has years of expertise in the treatment of musculoskeletal disorders including tendon and meniscus repair, ligament reconstruction, cartilage restoration, joint stabilization, and shoulder replacement.

He lives in the Jerome Village area with his wife, Hallie, and their young son, Theodore. Dr. Gorica is a native of Grove City and is excited to be returning to the Buckeye state. Outdoors is where he loves to be, especially hiking and crossing national parks off his list.
