Do you have an iPhone with iOS 26?
If you have upgraded to Apple’s latest software update, iOS 26, you may not be seeing time-sensitive communications from Memorial Health care providers. Phone calls/text messages may be filtered out and sent to your Unknown Senders, Unknown Callers, or Spam folder.
Here’s what to do next:
- Save the following numbers in your contacts as soon as possible to make sure you get time-sensitive notification text messages and phone calls from our providers.
Manually save these phone numbers as contacts on your iPhone:
-
- 32493 For appointment reminders, billing, and other care-related text messages
- (937) 644-6115 General calls from Memorial, including appointment reminders, hospital communications, surgery/endoscopy communications
- (937) 578-7900 Calls from our Memorial Outpatient Surgery Center
- 42832 Other messages from Memorial Health
- Review your Unknown Senders and Unknown Callers
Review text messages filtered as “Unknown Senders” and phone calls filtered as “Unknown Callers.” If a number is listed that you would want to receive text messages or phone calls from in the future, you can:
-
- Select “Mark as Known” for that message/call and add the number to your contacts.
- If you are using a previous version of iOS on your iPhone (iOS 18 or earlier), you may also want to add Memorial to your contacts list to make sure you do not experience an interruption in important messages. This feature is called “Filter Unknown Senders” in the iOS 18 software update.
