Memorial Health has announced Eryn Staats, Au.D, is now treating patients at the Memorial Ear, Nose & Throat practice at the Memorial Gateway Medical Center.
For nearly 20 years, Staats has worked as a clinical audiologist, providing comprehensive diagnostic services for pediatric and adult patients for a variety of hearing healthcare services. Most recently, she served as clinical audiologist and audiology manager with The Ohio State Department of Otolaryngology.
Staats particularly enjoys providing hearing aid selection, fitting, and follow-up services, as well as counseling patients on hearing conservation. She is passionate about sharing today’s latest hearing aid technology with patients and their families, including Bluetooth®️ technology and assistive listening devices. Her goal is to help people hear better and improve the quality of lives of her patients.
Her educational background includes receiving her Doctor of Audiology (Au.D) degree in 2012 from A.T. Still University in Mesa, Arizona; completing her Master of Audiology at The Ohio State University; and receiving her Bachelor of Speech and Hearing Science from Ohio University. Staats’ graduate work included clinical experience at OSU Speech-Language Hearing Clinic and the Dayton Institute of Hearing and Balance. She is board certified by the Ohio State Board of Speech Language Pathology and Audiology and is a member of the American Academy of Audiology and the Ohio Academy of Audiology.
Staats is very family-oriented and loves spending time with her husband, Shannon, as well as their two children who are active in soccer, basketball, and softball. She also is dedicated to giving back to her local community. Her volunteer work includes co-chairing the Fairbanks Athletic Boosters Spring Fundraiser, as well as service on the Fairbanks District Leadership Team and Key Communicators Team. Staats also serves as a Millcreek Township Zoning Committee Member.
